The University of Hull is seeking a Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography to join the Faculty of Health Sciences. This role involves teaching, mentoring, and enhancing the skills of health and social care workers. Ideal candidates will hold relevant degrees, HCPC registration, and teaching experience, contributing to innovative educational programmes.

The Faculty of Health Sciences is a well-established centre for education, research, and scholarly activity in health care. It collaborates closely with local health and social care providers to deliver innovative programmes that enhance the skills of health and social care workers, improving patient and client care. Our main base is on the university campus in Cottingham. The Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography will be part of the joint Schools of Nursing and Midwifery and of Paramedical, Peri-operative and Advanced Practice.
The Diagnostic Radiography programme complements existing health undergraduate programmes such as Paramedic Science, Operating Department Practice, Physiotherapy, and Nutrition and Dietetics, alongside MSc programmes in Advanced Practice, Leadership, and Non-Medical Prescribing. The new BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography aligns with the Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Partnership Long Term Plan (2019-2024), aiming to increase health and social care professionals in the region. The programme was developed with input from key stakeholders and placement partners across the region.
