Job summary

University of Lancashire is seeking a part-time Lecturer in Counselling within the School of Health, Social Work, and Sport. You will deliver and develop modules and contribute to the accredited BSc Counselling programme.

The role requires a qualified counsellor with evidence-based coverage of counselling topics and a current or progressing BACP accreditation. You will bring an innovative approach to learning and teaching and support student learning outcomes.

• Experience in learning and teaching delivery.
• BACP accreditation or progress towards it.

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Health, Social Work, and Sport for a part time Lecturer in Counselling. You will contribute to the delivery and development of modules and contribute to our accredited BSc Counselling programme.

About you:

We are looking for a qualified counsellor who is innovative in their approach to learning and teaching and can demonstrate comprehensive evidence-based coverage of all the main aspects of counselling. You will have an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and be BACP accredited (or be working towards).
