Global Banking School (GBS) Overview

Founded in 2010, GBS is a specialist training center for finance and investment banking with campuses across London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester. It offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs and has over 35,000 students.

Job Role: Lecturer in Construction Management

We are seeking full-time Lecturers to teach across various levels, with flexibility to work during weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Please note, this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess student work to meet learning outcomes
  • Develop and update course materials
  • Utilize diverse teaching methods, including online learning
  • Participate in staff development, peer observations, and administrative duties
  • Support student needs and monitor progress
Essential Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (PhD preferred)
  • UK HE lecturing experience in the subject area
  • Knowledge of construction management topics
  • Experience supervising students and providing feedback
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience supporting online and face-to-face learners
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital construction technologies
  • Facilitation of CAD workshops
  • Teaching qualification or HEA Fellowship
  • Experience developing academic or professional programs
  • Membership of CIOB or similar body
