Description:

The thriving team of Science, part of a busy department offering health, care, science and sport, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Full Time Science lecturer to teach primarily on our Level 3 Forensic and Biomedical programmes, with the opportunity to teach related subjects throughout the department. The successful candidate will be joining the team at a time when involvement in the support and design of the new curricula for 16-18 and adult learning programmes will play a part in this role.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Experience in teaching and assessing Level 3 BTEC Science with specific experience in teaching and assessing forensic and/or biomedical science related modules.
2. Experience of working in a relevant industry, teaching A level or T level as well as curriculum design and delivery would be advantageous.
3. A science degree and a level 5 teaching qualification.
4. An excellent record of teaching and learning practice.
5. Ability to prepare, plan and deliver high quality lessons in an engaging and exciting way to support learners.
