A prestigious UK university is seeking a dedicated educator to teach Artificial Intelligence to undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will engage in cutting-edge research in areas like Physics and Chemistry while contributing to innovative programmes. You will teach undergraduate and postgraduate students about Artificial Intelligence, whilst conducting world-leading research in Physics, Chemistry or AI.
You will have a passion for disciplinary research in an area of interest to our School (e.g. Theoretical Physics, Astronomy, Particle Physics, Condensed Matter, Chemistry or AI). You will be passionate about educating students in AI, using novel teaching approaches. You will be prepared to work with a variety of stakeholders in academia, industry or other sectors.
The School of Physical and Chemical Sciences is a vibrant interdisciplinary hub of world-leading research activity in the cognate disciplines of Physics and Chemistry. We have recently launched a new BSc degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence, which combines novel pedagogical methods with specialist expertise; also two MSc programmes applying AI to Drug Discovery and other sciences.
Due to high demand, we seek to recruit subject experts who can contribute to these programmes, whilst enhancing our research profile.
