Brockenhurst College is seeking a part-time Lecturer in A Level Media & Film on a fixed term basis. The role offers a pro rata salary of £33,367 to £44,365 per annum (unqualified teachers £26,436 - £33,367 pro rata DOE).

The successful applicant will teach a range of media production and theory modules, contribute to safeguarding, and support student achievement within a vibrant sixth-form environment.

You will be working on a part-time basis, in return, you will receive acompetitive salary of£33,367 to £44,365 pro rata per annum. (Unqualified teachers £26,436 - £33,367 pro rata per annum DOE).

About the role:

As theLecturer in A Level Media & Film, you will continually improve the learning experience and achievement of students through effective teaching.

The ideal Lecturer in A Level Media & Film will need:

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in relevant subject area
• Appropriate teacher training qualification (or working towards this)
• Ability to deliver media production and theory across a range of disciplines
• Strong knowledge of Media & Film Theory, knowledge, and delivery of units on vocational programmes
• Knowledge and understanding of current developments in the relevant curriculum area
• Knowledge of appropriate health and safety requirements
• High level practical skills in the areas of video editing software, camera controls, lighting and sound
