Furness College seeks a Lecturer in A Level Media & Film who can inspire students and support their achievements across various Media and Film courses. Applicants should have relevant qualifications in Media or Film, while teaching experience is desirable but not essential. We offer an extensive range of courses with a particular emphasis on technical learning, apprenticeships and Higher Education, in addition to the broadest A’ level offer in Cumbria.
Lecturer in A Level Media & Film
We are seeking a creative individual with a genuine enthusiasm for Media and Film who is able to engage, motivate and inspire students of all abilities. Our Media and Film lecturers support students to achieve across a range of courses including A Levels in Media and Film. The successful applicant will hold a relevant qualification in Media or Film or a related subject. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
Salary: £16,299- £24,782 per annum (dependent on experience/qualifications)
Hours: 21 hours per week
Tenure: Permanent
Annual Leave: 42 days, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure (pro rata for part time)
Closing Date: 02/07/2025
Interview Date: Week commencing the 7th of July
