What you'll do

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer to join our diverse, innovative Higher Education team based at the Basford Campus.

This role involves delivering high-quality teaching across our Higher Education (HE) Criminology programmes and Access to HE (Business) courses, supporting adult learners and aspiring professionals in achieving their academic and career goals.You will design and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons, support learners’ progression to university or employment, and contribute to curriculum development and quality enhancement. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding teaching and learning on HE Criminology and Access to HE Business programmes.
• Plan, prepare and assess coursework and assignments in line with awarding body requirements.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to a diverse cohort of adult learners.

The successful candidate will also have passion, drive, determination and vision that shines through to create outstanding learning opportunities.They will have excellent communication skills, have empathy, understanding and the ability to inspire and engage young people to excel and achieve their learning goals.The roles will also include additional duties such as pastoral support, progress monitoring and report writing.
