Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated, proactive, and passionate Lecturer in Electrical & Electronic Engineering to join our enthusiastic team within the School of Engineering on a fixed-term basis for 12 months.

This is an exciting opportunity to teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The role involves developing, delivering, and supporting in various electrical and electronic subject areas, including Electrical, Digital and Analogue Electronics, Embedded Systems, IoT, Power & Control Systems, Robotics, Mechatronics, and Communication Technology. The candidate should have practical experience in engineering design, implementation, processes, and systems, with skills in software tools like Matlab, MultiSim, Simulink, Proteus, and Altium.

Responsibilities
  1. Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students
  2. Developing and delivering course content
  3. Supporting students academically and personally, including those on apprenticeship programs
  4. Engaging with industry partners and maintaining links with engineering organizations
  5. Participating in research and curriculum development
Candidate Requirements
  1. PhD in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  2. Membership of a relevant professional body, ideally with Chartered Engineer (CEng) status
  3. Teaching qualification and/or HEA fellowship status
  4. Relevant teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate levels
  5. Experience in programme delivery and subject-specific research
  6. Strong interest in curriculum development and student support
