Job summary

NCG is seeking a motivated Lecturer to join our Digital programmes team in the UK. You will design and deliver inclusive, high-quality lessons across Level 2 and Level 3 courses, and provide constructive feedback to support progression into higher education or employment.

As a valued member of staff, you will develop engaging materials, track learner progress, and collaborate with employers to ensure industry-relevant delivery while upholding safeguarding and equality standards in our college

Qualifications

Recognised teaching qualification.
Level 2 English and Maths (e.g. GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent).
Ability to plan and deliver effective, inclusive teaching for diverse learners.
Knowledge of subject‑specific pedagogy and current teaching practices in further or higher education.
Clear communication and strong organisational skills.
Confidence using digital tools to support learning.
Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and ongoing professional development.

Role Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality teaching and learning across a range of Digital programmes, including Level 2, Level 3, and T Level qualifications. The role involves developing students' technical knowledge, digital skills, and employability competencies to support progression into higher education, apprenticeships, or employment within the digital sector.

The post holder will create engaging and inclusive learning environments, monitor and support student progress, and contribute to curriculum development to ensure programmes remain current with industry standards and emerging technologies. They will work collaboratively with employers and stakeholders to enhance industry relevance, particularly within T Level delivery, including supporting work placements and employer‑set projects. They will actively promote student achievement, attendance, safeguarding, and positive learner outcomes while contributing to the college's quality improvement and enhancement activities.
