Job summary

The Sheffield College seeks an experienced Dental Nurse/Technician educator to deliver training within our health science programs. You will mentor and assess students, ensuring adherence to GDC standards and college policies throughout practical sessions.

The role prioritizes teaching ability, professional ethics, and clear communication. You may collaborate on cross-college projects to support strategic goals and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• GDC Registration is essential.
• Proven experience as a practicing Dental Nurse and/or Technician
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring is highly desirable
• The ability to teach dental nursing and/or dental technology
• Extensive knowledge of Legislation, professionalism and ethics and GDC requirements for registrants.
• An assessor's qualification is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment
