Job description

The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching, delivery, development, research and administrative support of the undergraduate and taught postgraduate Dental Technology Programmes, and other related Dental Programmes, including the academic and personal support of students. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the Dental Programmes.

Professional Membership/Registration with the GDC is an essential requirement for this role along with an honours degree (or equivalent) and preferably a teaching qualification. A commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the Higher Education Academy is an essential requirement of the role.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Dental Technology Education as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the Dental Professional sector.
