HRUC is looking for a full-time Lecturer in Computing at Uxbridge Campus, specializing in Security. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computing, prior teaching experience, and expertise in IT Security or Systems Support. This position offers opportunities for teacher training and career development in a supportive educational environment.
Uxbridge College's Computing and IT School provides our learners with the knowledge and skills required by the computing industry. We provide an excellent foundation for our learners to progress to the next level, including careers in IT, apprenticeships, and Higher Education.
We are seeking a full-time Lecturer to join our successful team and deliver across a range of Computing courses, with a Security specialism, based at Uxbridge Campus.
You will possess a degree in a Computing subject and have some teaching experience, including delivery of BTEC programmes at Level 2 - 5. You will have knowledge and experience of VirtualBox (or equivalent) or Operating Systems Configuration (Windows and Linux). You will also have knowledge and experience of either IT Security or IT Systems Support.
You will need good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage young people aged 16-19. If you do not already possess a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, the College will support you to achieve this.

The salary range is £32,455 to £45,260 per annum, including London Weighting. Teacher training is provided.
