Job summary

Study Group, in partnership with the University of Huddersfield, seeks an academic staff member for on-site delivery at the London Campus in Stratford. You will design teaching materials, deliver modules, and assess students across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The role emphasizes research activity, publication, and engagement with external networks while contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• PhD degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• Strong research and publication background with evidence of contributing to journals and conferences.
• Fellowship of Advance HE or to be achieved within 12 months of appointment.
• Experience teaching undergraduate modules in core CS topics.
• Experience teaching postgraduate modules in relevant areas.

Responsibilities

• Design teaching material and deliver across a range of modules within a subject area.
• Design, mark and provide feedback on formative and summative assessments.
• Supervise student projects and maintain attendance and progress records.
• Act as a personal tutor and provide guidance to students.
• Develop and publish research outputs and engage in scholarship.
