Job summary

NPTC Group of Colleges is seeking a Lecturer based at Neath College to join our teaching team. The role involves delivering education across catering and hospitality, with training provided for the teaching qualification. A focus on maths and English at level 2 and IT literacy is required.

Band A. Annualised hours: 699.6 - 835 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Permanent, flexible fractional.

Associate Lecturer Scales 1 - 4, £26,387 - £31,140 per annum, pro rata. Main Grade Scales 1 - UP1, £33,596 - £48,289 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).

About you:

Ideally you should possess a minimum of level 3 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in Catering and Hospitality, have relevant industrial experience and hold a teaching qualification (training provided). You should also hold a level 2 qualifications in Maths and English and be IT literate equivalent to level 2. Assessor/Verifier Awards would be advantageous.
