This is a fixed-term, full-time position offered on a T&S contract. T&R may be considered for a suitably qualified candidate.

Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU) is located on a beautifully green and pleasant campus just a few minutes’ walk from Lincoln Cathedral, Castle, and the old Roman city. Our story began in the 1860s as an Anglican teacher training college for women, which makes us one of the oldest Higher Education Institutions in the UK. Since then, we've grown, adapted, and modernised to become the thriving university we are today. We're still experts in teaching and education, but we've now got a wider portfolio of exciting degree courses than ever before. We currently offer courses in a wide range of subjects, from Undergraduate Degree level to PhD, and much more in between.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Business Lecturer to join the Business team at Bishop Grosseteste University. If you have an excellent working knowledge of Business and a passion for sharing your skills and experience, then this may be the ideal post for you. Experience of working in/ teaching Finance, Marketing, or Project Management would be highly advantageous in shaping the learning experience for our students. You will have experience of working in Higher Education and will be passionate about both business research and teaching and learning.

The Business team facilitate diverse programmes of study, leading learning opportunities for BGU students and our UK and International partners, this role is part of a core team which facilitates a growing student offer.

You will be involved in devising and delivering a range of contemporary modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level and will support traditional and non-traditional learners on a variety of pathways, including higher and degree apprenticeships. In addition, you will be expected to support recruitment and enterprise initiatives across the University as well as other activities which promote both the programme and the University’s wider commitment to the community.
