We are: Looking for creative educators across 5 disciplines, to join and contribute to our exciting, new degree programme: BA Arts with Community.

You will be: A creative educator with comprehensive experience in the field of arts with community. You should demonstrate a commitment to storytelling and play in higher education and practical knowledge and expertise in one of the following disciplines:

Voice and Body
e.g. movement, dance, acting, performance, storytelling, vocal practice, breathwork, singing, somatic performance, improvisation, Pilates
Music and Sound
e.g. composition, sound design, storytelling, musicianship (any genre), performing, singing, arrangement, podcasting, engineering, recording, experimentation
Images and Light
e.g. lighting design, photography, film (documentary, fiction, creative), storytelling, fine art, community art, scenic art, sculpture, textile, props, documentation
Words and Text
e.g. creative writing (fiction and non-fiction), storytelling, playwriting, screenwriting, poetry, zines, songwriting, documentation, writing for performance and spoken word
Arts with Social Sciences
e.g. arts with…society and culture, education, health and wellbeing, practices, policies and legislation, human geography, psychology, sociology, safeguarding and safer working practices, research methods

You should: have qualification or significant experience in education, be able to demonstrate experience and success as a lecturer in higher education in arts, social science or Education and prior knowledge of working with students and/or artists within a community context.
