GSL Education are seeking dedicated and passionate Lecturers to join a highly regarded further education provider in Newcastle. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across a range of subject areas and make a real difference in students’ educational journeys.

Role Overview:

As a Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across various disciplines, supporting students’ progress towards qualifications, apprenticeships, or employment. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that meet curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit a diverse cohort of learners with varying educational needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth.

Job Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. CertEd, or equivalent) is essential.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching in a further education, sixth form, or higher education context.
• Strong subject knowledge, with the ability to adapt content to varied learning levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support learners.
• Commitment to student development, achievement, and inclusive education practices.
• Flexibility and adaptability to cover multiple subjects as needed.
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL).
