Job summary

The University of Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced academic to contribute to the teaching and delivery of Advanced Practice programmes, including the delivery of mental health modules and supervision of service improvement projects.

You will provide academic and personal support to Mental Health students through the personal tutor role, and assist with recruitment and admissions for the Advanced Practice Programme.

Qualifications

• Professional Membership/Registration is desirable for this role.
• First degree and preferably a teaching qualification.
• Commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the HEA is essential.
• Experience in advanced practice and linking courses with the professional sector.

Responsibilities

Professional Membership/Registration is an desirable requirement for this role along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in advanced practice. A commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the Higher Education Academy is an essential requirement of the role.The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in healthcare Education as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the Professional sector.
