Role Details
  • Position: Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice
  • Salary: £41,360 - £43,880 per annum (pro-rata)
  • Duration: Fixed-term, 12 months
  • Working hours: Post 1 (17.5 hours/week), Post 2 (21 hours/week)
  • Location: UHI House, Inverness

Candidate Profile

We seek committed individuals with advanced clinical practitioner experience, NMC or HCPC registration, interested in educating the next generation of clinicians and contributing to post-registration education. Experience in teaching pre and post-registration students, along with a recognised teaching qualification, is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities & Opportunities

The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to enhancing education for nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals across Highland and Islands. This is an academic role within the Centre for Rural Health Sciences, involving research and pedagogical activities. The university supports professional development, including postgraduate teaching qualifications.
