We are looking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic Beauty Lecturer to join our existing multi-site and multi-discipline Hairdressing and Beauty Department. You must be a highly skilled and motivated individual whose passion is to inspire students, to excel and achieve the highest standards of employability skills.
The successful candidate will receive current CPD training, be part of an award winning; highly supportive team and can have the opportunity to be involved in international trips.
Successful applicants will be required to teach Entry Level, L1, L2 and L3 Beauty, make up and nail technology.
You will be required to carry out learning and assessment activities, develop and enhance the existing curriculum to meet industry requirements, whilst ensuring your Teaching and Learning is consistently delivered to the highest standard. Our primary focus is towards the successful applicant having had current industrial experience within the field of beauty therapy. You will need to hold a relevant advanced professional qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) in Beauty therapy and show positive CPD in your field. Holding an assessors qualification would also be advantageous.
The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Employees will, in accordance with statutory guidance, be subject to a comprehensive checking process including references from current and previous employers, health, right to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS check and a further check against the appropriate barred list. To comply with legislation, you are required to obtain a DBS check for your role. We will be asking Protocol National Ltd/Esafeguarding Ltd to undertake this process on our behalf.
