Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Leaving Care Personal Advisor in Enfield.
We’re looking for a committed and empathetic Leaving Care Personal Advisor to join our dedicated team, working alongside Social Workers to guide young people aged 18–24 who have previously been Looked After by the Local Authority.
Pay rate – £18.07 PAYE / £22.39 Umbrella per hour
Main Responsibilities
As a Leaving Care Personal Advisor you will be responsible for:
Hold a caseload of up to 25 young people
Provide tailored, one-to-one support for care leavers transitioning into adulthood and independent living
Work collaboratively with services including education, training, employment, housing, and health to ensure holistic support
Carry out office-based work, community visits, and attend meetings both locally and out-of-borough as needed
Empower young adults to develop and work towards their care and health plans, fostering confidence, resilience, and independence
Ensure all support is delivered in line with local procedures, policies, and relevant legislation (e.g. the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000)
Requirements:
Significant experience of working with vulnerable young people with a range of complex problems
Knowledge of the legislative framework around Looked After Children and Care Leavers
Demonstrable success in partnership working for the benefit of young people
