Leaving Care Personal Advisor

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Leaving Care Personal Advisor in Westminster.

We’re seeking an empathetic, motivated, and experienced Leaving Care Personal Advisor to join our dynamic Leaving Care Team. If you have experience supporting Looked After Children (LAC) and Care Leavers, we want to hear from you.

Pay rate – £21.68 PAYE / £27 Umbrella per hour.

Main Responsibilities

As a Leaving Care Personal Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting Care Leavers in making a successful transition to adulthood.
  2. Delivering direct interventions to help young people develop independence and life skills.
  3. Assisting in creating, implementing, and reviewing Pathway Plans, ensuring active involvement of young people.
  4. Providing coaching and motivational support to build confidence and resilience.
  5. Safeguarding young people during their transition, ensuring access to suitable accommodation, education, training, or employment.
Requirements
  • Educated to A-Level (or equivalent), or substantial experience working directly with children and young people.
  • Experience working with Looked After Children (LAC) and/or Care Leavers.
