Job description

Leasing Associate - Mandarin/Cantonese Speaking (Summer FTC)

Overall Purpose

The Leasing Associate acts as the face of Get Living and plays a key role in the commercial performance of Get Living neighborhoods, ensuring targets are met to keep all neighborhoods optimally occupied. They guide prospective clients from initial enquiry through to move-in, providing high-standard customer service.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract starting May/June and ending in October. The role is on-site at our East Village neighborhood, working 40 hours per week, including Saturdays on a rota basis.

Key Relationships

Internal: Residents, Resident Managers, Resident Enquiries team, Customer Hub, estates teams.

External: Estates teams, third-party suppliers, prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Represent Get Living to current and prospective clients, ensuring an exemplary experience from enquiry to move-in and beyond.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals for pricing, occupancy, and revenue, contributing to team quotas.
  • Qualify enquiries and match client requirements to available homes.
  • Negotiate moves, upgrades, transfers, and renewals with residents and applicants.
  • Manage diary for tours and other responsibilities, guiding prospective clients and promoting the benefits of Get Living homes.
  • Utilize IT systems/software effectively to benefit residents and teams.
  • Document the leasing journey using CRM systems.
  • Monitor property listings online, ensuring accuracy on the Get Living website and Rightmove.
  • Encourage clients to view Get Living’s unique, service-oriented renting approach.
  • Gather documentation efficiently from clients to facilitate smooth handovers to the Customer Hub.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at every interaction.
  • Build positive relationships within the neighborhood and with central teams.
  • Seek opportunities for personal improvement and development.
  • Drive personal success and motivate others to achieve goals.
  • Participate in relevant training and keep knowledge up-to-date.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Participate actively in resident events.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Experience in a leasing role; Build to Rent experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of the sales cycle.
  • IT literate, with experience using CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Strong team player.
