A leading council provider in London is seeking a Leasehold and Procurement Manager. The successful candidate will manage leasehold matters, lead a consulting team, and oversee procurement for maintenance contracts. This role requires in-depth knowledge of leasehold management and local government procurement processes. The position offers a salary of £55,399 - £69,947 and various generous benefits including 40 days of annual leave.

Do you have experience in leasehold management and procurement of building maintenance and service contracts within a local authority environment? If yes, you will work in a supportive and encouraging environment with a small team of experienced officers, procuring contracts and consulting leaseholders on major building works.
You will serve as the council's lead expert on leasehold matters, providing advice and guidance. Your responsibilities include managing a team that consults with leaseholders on planned works, providing pre-sale information, lease extensions, alterations, lease variations, and sale of housing land.
You will also oversee the extension and re-procurement of grounds maintenance, cleaning, and mechanical and electrical maintenance and service contracts across all council-owned estates and blocks. Additionally, you will resolve contract management issues that could lead to contract termination.
