Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Learning Technology Developer for a UK education provider with campuses across the UK. The role focuses on designing, developing and improving digital tools that support learning, teaching and academic quality.

Working in the Digital Learning Team, you will translate ideas into technical solutions, collaborate with students and staff, and explore AI-enabled approaches while upholding security and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Experience developing full-stack web applications using C#/.NET, TypeScript, React and APIs.
• Turn concepts or prototypes into production-ready software with clear documentation.
• Strong secure software development practices including authentication and data handling.
• Collaborate with non-technical colleagues to translate requirements into user-focused solutions.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully and with accountability.
• Experience in education, learning technology, training, or products that support learning.
• Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Balance technical detail with user and organisational needs.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web-based applications and digital tools for learning and assessment.
• Gather requirements from colleagues and students to shape technical solutions.
• Develop software from concept to deployable applications.
• Enhance internally developed platforms and respond to evolving needs.
• Create AI-enabled tools to support teaching, assessment and student success.
• Build integrations between learning platforms and other systems.
• Ensure security, accessibility, reliability and data protection standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.
• Contribute to decisions on new systems and technologies.
• Identify technical risks to maintain resilience of software.
