Job summary

BIMM University is seeking a Learning Technology Developer to design, develop and improve digital products for learning, teaching and academic quality. The role sits in the Digital Learning Team and involves collaborating with colleagues and students across campuses to deliver practical, user-focused solutions that enhance learning experiences.

You will translate ideas into technical solutions, work on AI-enabled tools, and build integrations with institutional systems while ensuring security

Qualifications

• Experience building full-stack web applications using C#/.NET, TypeScript and React.
• Strong understanding of secure software development, authentication and data protection.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical, user-focused technical solutions.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools with emphasis on quality and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web-based applications supporting learning and academic processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues and students to gather requirements and shape technical solutions.
• Develop software from concept to deployable applications.
• Enhance internally developed platforms and respond to feedback and needs.
• Create AI-enabled tools to support teaching, assessment and student success.
• Build integrations between learning platforms and institutional systems.
• Ensure solutions are secure, accessible and compliant with data standards.
• Produce technical documentation and share knowledge across the team.
• Contribute to decisions on developing, purchasing or integrating new systems.
• Identify and assess technical risks to ensure resilience of software.
