Job summary

CBRE Local UK is seeking a Learning, Talent & Management Lead to drive regional learning and talent initiatives. You will lead a team of learning professionals, partner with business leaders, and align programmes with global priorities to support business and people priorities.

The role oversees delivery of Management Essentials, Leadership Coaching, ILM, and early career programmes, ensuring quality, impact and delivery against the People and LTM roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Experience managing large-scale programmes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and planning capability with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Excellent project and programme management skills and budget experience.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and produce executive reports.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operational leaders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering & LTM Planning; primary LTM contact in the region.
  • Represent LTM at regional leadership forums and stakeholder meetings.
  • Interface regional leadership with the broader LTM function.
  • Deliver externally delivered programmes (Management Essentials, Leadership Coaching, ILM).
  • Lead internally delivered programmes (e.g., Contract Management for UK).
  • Provide practical learning support and development resources.
  • Design and facilitate learning opportunities aligned with business outcomes.
  • Oversee Next Generation programmes (Apprenticeship & Graduate paths).
  • Ensure Talent Management processes, succession planning and capability growth.
  • Lead UK Learning, Talent Management and Next Generation team; foster collaboration.
  • Model CBRE RISE values; drive governance, quality and performance reporting.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate with People teams and external partners.

Job description

Overall purpose:

The Learning, Talent & Management (L&TM) Lead will manage the delivery of learning, leadership and talent initiatives across the region, leading a team of learning professionals and ensuring development programmes are implemented effectively to support business and people priorities.

Responsibilities/ Tasks:
  • Business Partnering & LTM Planning
  • Act as the primary point of contact for LTM activities within the region, working with business leaders to understand and support learning, leadership and talent development requirements.
  • Represent LTM at regional leadership forums and key stakeholder meetings, providing insight and recommendations aligned to business objectives.
  • Act as the interface between regional leadership and the broader LTM function, ensuring alignment with global priorities and effective navigation of the wider LTM agenda.
  • Support implementation of the People and LTM roadmap within the region, ensuring learning and talent initiatives are fit for purpose and effectively delivered.
Programme Leadership & Delivery
  • Lead and programme manage the delivery of externally delivered programmes for example Management Essentials, Leadership Coaching and ILM.
  • Lead and programme manage internally delivered programmes for example Contract Management for UK audiences, ensuring quality, impact and alignment to business needs.
  • Provide practical learning support and development resources to address identified business needs.
  • Design and facilitate learning opportunities where appropriate, ensuring delivery supports agreed business outcomes and development priorities.
Talent & Early Careers
  • Oversee and support Next Generation programmes, including Apprenticeship and Graduate pathways, ensuring positive participant experience and alignment with talent requirements.
  • Ensure delivery of Talent Management processes across the region, supporting succession planning, career development and organisational capability growth.
Leadership & Team Management
  • Manage and support the UK Learning, Talent Management and Next Generation team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and customer focus across the team.
  • Lead by example and role model behaviours that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Governance, Quality & Performance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accreditation, governance and quality standards across learning and talent programmes.
  • Prepare and share programme performance reports, metrics and key updates with stakeholders to support decision-making.
  • Monitor programme performance, analyse learning and talent data and in partnership with stakeholders identify opportunities for continuous improvement and/or to meet evolving business requirements and support organisational goals and future capability requirements.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders, People teams and external partners to enable effective delivery of learning and talent initiatives
  • Partner with Communications teams to ensure employees are aware of learning and development opportunities, events and resources.
  • Manage relationships with external learning providers and vendors to ensure high-quality delivery and value for investment.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Essential:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience managing large-scale programmes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Excellent project and programme management skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning capability.
  • Experience analysing performance data and producing executive reports.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and operational leaders.
  • Strong budget management experience
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Desirable
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Experience managing and developing teams to deliver operational objectives and service outcomes.
  • Experience within Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering or Built Environment sectors.
  • Experience managing apprenticeship, graduate and early career programmes.
