Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

The Position

Learning & Talent Development Manager

A healthier future. It’s what drives us to innovate. To continuously advance science and ensure everyone has access to the healthcare they need today and for generations to come. Creating a world where we all have more time with the people we love. That’s what makes us Roche.

Healthcare is evolving, and Global Procurement (GP) is responding by continuously striving for the highest possible performance, taking innovative and strategic approaches to business and supplier partnerships. Global Procurement proactively manages the entire supplier ecosystem, making a vital contribution to improving health outcomes, reducing costs for patients and global healthcare systems, and ensuring that Roche continues doing now what patients need next.

The Opportunity:

This role sits within the Enablement Chapter where we drive operational and financial effectiveness in Global Procurement by advancing talent growth and development, delivering actionable insights, fostering high engagement, and ensuring robust performance management. Our team is dedicated to enabling better outcomes and providing comprehensive support to GP leadership and chapters.

As Learning & Talent Development Manager, you will report to the Learning & Talent Development Lead and play a key role in ensuring the smooth deployment, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of learning across Global Procurement. From managing logistics and platforms to driving insights, process improvements, and learner communications, you’ll help scale learning that delivers real impact.

You’ll collaborate closely with GP colleagues, end users — including individual contributors and people leaders — as well as subject matter experts, to ensure learning solutions are relevant, accessible, and fit for purpose.

We welcome candidates with backgrounds in project management, learning and development, or procurement who are passionate about building capabilities, driving operational excellence, and empowering others to grow.

You will play a variety of roles depending on your experience, knowledge, and business needs, including but not limited to:

  • Design and evolve learning journeys by applying creative thinking, structured design, and AI-driven solutions to deliver personalised, scalable, and high-impact learning experiences

  • Orchestrate end-to-end learning delivery, ensuring every touchpoint — from invites to feedback — is smooth, timely, and professional

  • Maintain and continuously improve content hubs (e.g., gSites, learning platforms), keeping learning resources current, accessible, and well-structured

  • Partner with People & Culture and platform teams to deliver seamless, user-friendly learning experiences that integrate with internal systems

  • Translate learning data and feedback into insights that shape design, boost engagement, and align with business goals

  • Craft clear, engaging communications that drive awareness and uptake of learning initiatives

  • Support peer learning communities, helping create environments where learning is social, sustained, and aligned with business needs

Who you are:

  • You hold a university degree, preferably in business, life sciences, learning or a related field

  • You have 5+ years of experience in business operations, program management, learning and development, or experience design - ideally within global functions such as procurement, supply chain, or consulting.

  • You bring a product mindset and a passion for experience design, creating intuitive, relevant learning solutions that evolve with user needs and feedback

  • You are detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and processes

  • You bring strong digital and analytical skills and are confident using learning platforms, AI tools, and content design technologies

  • You take ownership of your work, identify improvements proactively, and collaborate effectively across teams

  • You are energised by supporting others, solving problems, and making learning accessible and impactful

  • You demonstrate curiosity, active listening, and a willingness to experiment, with a strong focus on continuous learning and improvement

  • You are inclusive, open-minded, and generous in sharing ideas and welcoming diverse perspectives

Join our team and help build the capabilities we need to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
