About the role

Masterclass are working with an inclusive school dedicated to providing exceptional education and care for students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and complex medical needs. As a Learning Support Worker, you will provide hands‑on support to students with complex needs, helping them engage with their learning and daily activities in a meaningful way. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and medical professionals to ensure each student receives the highest standard of care and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised support to students with PMLD and complex medical needs.
  • Assist with learning activities, therapy sessions, and sensory‑based interventions.
  • Support students with personal care, feeding, and mobility needs (training provided).
  • Promote independence, communication, and engagement in a structured environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
About you
  • A kind, patient, and compassionate nature.
  • Experience working with children or young people with PMLD, SEN, or complex medical needs (preferred but not essential).
  • A willingness to assist with personal care and medical support (training provided).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive and positive approach to supporting student development.
