Support student comprehension by clarifying, explaining, and simplifying instructions.

Keep students engaged and motivated, helping them stay focused on their learning.

Understand and respond to individual learning needs, developing and implementing effective support strategies based on students' learning difficulties or disabilities, risk assessments, care plans, and EHCP targets.

Promote the use of assistive technology and resources to enhance learning and independence.

Boost student confidence and self-esteem, actively seeking opportunities to empower them in their learning journey.

Develop tailored resources and strategies to help students access their learning environment.

Assist with literacy skills, including reading, spelling, punctuation, and grammar, using various strategies to build independence.

Guide students in developing essential study skills, such as organization, note-taking, and scribing.

Provide exam support by acting as an invigilator, scribe, reader, or prompt when required.

Maintain accurate daily support records and contribute to reviews, agreements, and target setting to monitor progress and ensure quality.

Attend regular meetings to share information and contribute to evaluations.

Accompany students on trips and work experience as needed.

Provide mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.

Promote positive student behavior and attitudes, working alongside teaching staff to manage individuals and groups.
