Job Title: Learning Support Technician - Culinary Arts & Hospitality

Salary:£23,957 - £25,406 pro rata per annum

Hours Per Week: Full Time (35 hours)

We are actively searching for a Learning Support Technician - Culinary Arts & Hospitality to join our Hospitality team. We will offer a salary of up to £25,406per year plus many added incentives including:

About the Job

The post holder will provide technical support and joint supervision in a realistic, working Hospitality and Catering environment. This will include assistance to academic staff during practical sessions, maintenance of equipment as required, maintaining and supervising the safe and efficient operation of the area. Demonstrating to and inducting students in the safe use of materials, techniques and equipment and generally offering support in the development of their practical work. Support the stores and relevant ordering systems. Carry out cleaning schedules as required.

About You
  • Hold/be prepared to work towards a relevant Food Safety & Hygiene/Allergens awareness qualification at level 2

    • Hold a Level 2 Literacy qualification or equivalent (or be prepared to work towards)

    • Hold a Level 2 Numeracy qualification or equivalent (or be prepared to work towards)
