Job summary

South Staffordshire College in Stafford is seeking a Learning Support Practitioner - Exams to work at Rodbaston Campus. You will collaborate with teachers to support learners with SEND and conduct psychometric testing for exam access arrangements.

The role requires previous teaching experience, a degree or professional qualification, and progression toward Level 7 EAA within nine months. DBS checks and safeguarding training are mandatory.

Responsibilities

The Learning Support team has a unique and exciting opportunity, to conduct psychometric testing that can provide our learner with SEND, the evidence required for exam access arrangements.


You will be a highly motivated, extremely organised and dedicated individual working closely with teachers and learners to provide inclusive and challenging support strategies that enable our learners with SEND to maximise their full potential.


A strong team player with a real desire to help young people and adults, you will have previous teaching experience and be qualified to conduct access arrangement assessments.


However, the right candidate will be supported to gain a level 7 EAA qualification in the first nine months of your appointment, if you do not hold one already.
