Newcastle College is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a passionate team that supports students with additional learning needs. You will work closely with students with diverse needs, including young people, adults, and those with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities.
Your role will involve supporting students both inside and outside the classroom, helping them access and understand the curriculum, and encouraging independent skills and confidence. You should be confident providing tailored one-to-one, group, or whole class support.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and committed to inclusive education. You will have Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent, and be able to work flexibly, including evenings and supporting at off-site provisions.
