Job summary

Oldham College in Greater Manchester is seeking a committed Learning Support Officer to assist the delivery of College services and priorities, with a focus on supporting students with SEND.

You will work with teaching staff to adapt learning strategies, monitor progress, and support learners' development and positive behaviours, while upholding safeguarding and equality commitments across the College.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting learners with SEND (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual learner needs.
  • Good organisational skills with experience maintaining accurate records.
  • Proactive, flexible approach with a commitment to inclusion and learner success.
