You will join us on a part time (30 hours), term time basis and will receive a salary of £16,570 per annum (equivalent to a full time, full year salary of £23,519 per annum), plus staff benefits.

CRC is a really exciting place to work, and as we grow we are looking for caring, personable and empathetic Teaching Assistants with a real flair for empowering young people to join our Learning Support team.
The Supported Learning Department at CRC educate and care for our most vulnerable students. Every day is different and TAs can be supporting our students in a wide range of subjects that help to promote their confidence, independence, employability and self-reliance. You could be working with students in our college garden, with small animals or doing art, drama, music or wood work skills as well as supporting in cooking lessons and Maths and English.
We are ideally seeking candidates who have experience of working in a special education setting or may wish to make the move from primary education or social care. A knowledge of supporting students working at Entry level and gathering evidence via RARPA would be an advantage.
These TA opportunities would either suit someone looking for a new, more flexible role within learning support where they are only working term-time and/or someone keen to transfer existing skills, such as from the care sector, and build a career in supported learning. Full training and support provided for our Teaching Assistant roles.
