Job summary

Graduate Career Solutions in the United Kingdom seeks a Learning Support Worker to provide care, teaching and behavioural support following individual plans. Qualifications

• Educated to a degree level.
• Experience of working with adults or young people with disabilities.
• Interest in special educational needs (autism).
• Ability to keep records and report learner progress.
• Confidentiality and discretion in handling information.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, care and teaching identified in learners’ learning plans.
• Plan, prepare and deliver sessions to develop knowledge and skills.
• Support learners in social, leisure and educational activities.
• Facilitate learner decision making and promote empowerment.
• Collect, record and analyse data on progress and adapt as needed.
• Administer medication after training and follow procedures.
• Participate in mandatory training days/courses.
