Protocol Education is looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants/Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming SEND provision right here in Southend.

Our students have a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH), and complex learning difficulties. Some have an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP). While experience is welcome, it’s not essential — what matters most is your willingness to support, encourage, and inspire.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team who work together to motivate, challenge, and nurture every pupil. Building positive relationships and bringing a friendly, can-do attitude is key.

Role Details:

  • Based in Southend

  • Long-term, full-time position

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

  • No prior SEND experience required — full training and guidance provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
