Job summary

Completely Care is hiring Learning Support Assistants / Teaching Assistants for a college setting in Guildford. The role offers £15–£16 per hour, full-time hours, and term-time only working with immediate starts available.

All positions involve DBS and reference checks and require engaging with students with additional needs in a supportive college environment. We are seeking caring, patient, and enthusiastic individuals who can build positive relationships with students and staff while helping

Qualifications

• Experience as Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
• Patient, approachable and reliable.
• Good communicators who can build positive, professional relationships.
• Experience in an educational, SEN, college or specialist support setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with additional needs in the classroom and during college activities.
• Helping students understand tasks, follow instructions and participate in lessons.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group learning support where required.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
• Adapting your approach to meet individual learning, communication and support needs.
• Working closely with teaching staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Support Worker looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference?

We have immediate opportunities available for caring, patient and enthusiastic individuals to support students with additional needs in a college setting.

Offering £15–£16 per hour, full-time hours and term-time-only working, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants consistent hours during term time while helping students build confidence, develop independence and achieve their potential.

What will you be doing?

You will work alongside college staff to provide individualised support to students with additional learning needs, helping them engage with their education and get the most out of college life.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting students with additional needs in the classroom and during college activities.
• Helping students understand tasks, follow instructions and participate in lessons.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group learning support where required.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
