Job description

Multiple roles available in a Stretford based school (M32). These jobs are available on a full-time and part-time basis, for emergency cover, absences (short-term and long-term) as well as gaps in staffing.

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Competitive rate £13.50 – £14.50
  • School experience is not required to be successful in these roles

A Primary School in Stretford require multiple Learning Support Assistants with varied start dates. The school require staff on short-term and long-term contracts which could be either on a full-time or a part-time basis. They are looking for individuals who are passionate to making a difference with children in Specialist settings. Within these roles, as a learning support assistant, you will be expected to create positive relationships with the pupils and encourage positive choices and behaviour. You will be expected to provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and the class teachers.

The school are keen to consider a variety of staff in terms of experience, you are likely to be successful whether you are an experienced SEN support assistant, a graduate looking for experience working with SEN children or have current or prior experience support/care worker etc. Ideally if you have supported individuals with additional needs, that would be desirable however this is not essential to be successful.
