Job summary

The Ashley School Academy Trust in Lowestoft is hiring Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with complex learning needs inside and outside the classroom, in small groups or 1:1. The role is permanent, 30.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 professional development days).

Due to growth, we are looking for dedicated and empathetic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our awesome team of efficient and effective staff.Are you passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of children with complex learning difficulties? Do you have a passion to: work both inside and outside the classroom supporting pupils, some in small groups and others 1:1help pupils to develop life skills and emotional regulationwork alongside teachers and
other specialist staff to provide a whole approach to learningcelebrate progress in small steps?You will need think on your feet, as no two days are the same, and have a genuine desire and motivation to improve the lives of young people with SEND. Enthusiasm and a commitment to raise achievement for pupils with SEND is essential. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to visit the school as part of the interview process.
