Learning Support Assistant: Scale 2 (points 3-4) - Actual salary range: £15,013-£15,248 *** Specialist Teaching Assistant: Scale 3 (points 5-6) - Actual salary range: £15,490-£15,735

Hours

27.5 hours per week, term time only plus 3 days (Monday to Friday 9am – 2:30pm (hours and days can be discussed))

Trinity Academy Cathedral is part of the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust which has been a successful partnership since 2016.

We are now seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the SEN team. You will provide a professional, efficient administrative service across the academy with a focus on the teaching and learning of SEN students. Please note that this is a permanent position as a Learning Support Assistant. However, you will be temporarily deployed as a Specialist Teaching Assistant until August 2029, after which you will return to your substantive role of Learning Support Assistant. Within the Specialist Teaching Assistant role, you will be responsible for reformatting learning resources for visually impaired students.

What we need?

  • A good standard of education including English and Maths
  • Evidence of experience in a similar office or administration role
  • Experience of working to deadlines
  • Experience of note taking and arranging meetings
  • Experience of using databases, word processing and a range of other IT packages
  • Willingness to work directly with students on the student reception and attendance desk
