Job summary

The Nova Education Trust is seeking a Learning Support Assistant on a permanent basis to support our specialist learning approach. This full-time post may consider part-time or job share arrangements.

Responsibilities include planning with teachers, preparing materials, managing behaviour, and supporting pupils in 1:1 and small-group settings throughout the academy.

Salary : Scale 3 (£26,427 to £26,847 pro rata, £22,691 to £23,052 actual per year)

Contract : Permanent, full time (part time & job share considered), term-time only

We are looking to appoint a dynamic Learning Support Assistant on a permanent basis that can support our specialist approach to learning. This vacancy is for a full time post, however part time can be considered.

Your main responsibilities within this role will be:

• Provide teaching support to allocated pupils by planning teaching with the class teacher to achieve progression of learning
• Assisting in preparing the learning environment and the materials used therein
