Job summary

St Anne’s School and Sixth Form College on Boothferry Road in Hessle are looking for outstanding people to join our exceptional team as Learning Support Assistants across all student age groups (3 to 19 years).

Teamwork is key; Learning Support Assistants provide a vital role in creating a safe, productive learning environment, assisting with personal care, and supporting 1:1 or small group activities alongside the Class Teacher and other professionals.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Willing to work towards professional qualifications.
• Strong communication with children, families and agencies.
• Experience in Special Needs Education advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support students in 1:1 or small-group activities.
• Assist with personal care (feeding, changing, toileting).
• Collaborate with Class Teacher and other professionals.
• Contribute to a safe, productive learning environment.
