Job description

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work with a Year 2 student in Eastbourne who has severe learning difficulties. The role involves providing one-to-one support, understanding and managing triggers, especially in situations where the student may exhibit challenging behavior, and building a positive rapport to facilitate learning.

Position Details:
  • Location: Eastbourne
  • Contract: Temporary (Until End of School Year)
  • Year Group: Year 2
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a student with severe learning difficulties on a one-to-one basis.
  • Identify and manage triggers, including challenging behaviors.
  • Build a supportive relationship to promote a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Learning Support Assistant, especially with challenging behaviors.

Qualifications:
