Job Description:

At Leader Education, we are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support children within a SEND school who cater for both primary and secondary students, this school is based in Bedlington, Northumberland. The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have had previous experience working with young people as well as a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30 until 15:30.

Working with Leader Education:

  • Potential permanent contract after a qualifying period

The successful Candidate will:

  • Candidates will need an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one
  • Have a passion for teaching and learning with the ability to make learning enjoyable and fun
  • Support the development of social and emotional skills
