SEN Teaching Assistant - KS2 - South Bootle

Location: South Bootle
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Setting: Primary School - KS2

A supportive primary school in South Bootle is looking for a skilled and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this September, working on a 1:1 basis with a KS2 pupil who has ADHD. The role requires someone with strong behaviour management skills and proven experience supporting children with challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities
  • Providing consistent 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with ADHD
  • Implementing strategies to help with focus, routines, and self-regulation
  • Supporting behaviour management using positive and consistent approaches
  • Assisting with classroom learning, adapting tasks to meet the child\'s needs
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support plans
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with children with ADHD or challenging behaviour (essential)
