Job summary

The Cornerstone Federation is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our secondary provision. This 30-hour-per-week, term-time-only role offers a gross salary of £19,090–£19,395 per annum.

We are looking for someone who can read the room, support students’ emotional and academic needs, and make the curriculum accessible. The successful candidate will have a calm, nurturing presence and a genuine interest in SEND.

Learning Support Assistant (Secondary)

30 hours per week (Term time only)

HAY 5A-E (£19,090 - £19,395 gross actual salary per annum)

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and self-motivated Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to join our friendly and supportive team.

• Can you "read the room" and pivot your support based on a student’s emotional or academic needs in the moment?
• Can you make the curriculum accessible and exciting?
• Are you receptive and adaptive?
• Are you able to build rapport with students who may find school challenging?
• Do you have a calm and nurturing presence?
• Do you have a genuine interest in SEND and a desire to support learning?
