As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a vital part in supporting students with additional needs, helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. You'll work closely with teachers and specialist staff to ensure every student can thrive and reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with additional needs
  2. Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom organisation, and learning resources
  3. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  4. Help ensure all students feel included and supported
  5. Track and encourage student progress towards their goals
  6. Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or support setting
  7. An understanding of how to support students with additional or special educational needs
  8. A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach
  9. Right to work in the UK
  10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  11. Two professional references covering the last two years

Safeguarding training is desirable but can be provided as part of our onboarding process.
