Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Reading

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
• Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students
• Support students with behaviour management and social interaction
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with administrative tasks related to student progress and development

Required Qualifications:

• Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Previous teaching experience
• Enhanced DBS check

Education:

• Relevant qualifications in education or related field

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in supporting students with SEN
• Experience in behaviour management

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proactive and able to work independently
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training in SEN support
• First aid certification

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with regular school hours
